OOTD: Back To School

It’s officially September, and school has started for almost everyone. Despite it being closer to fall than summer, the weather didn’t seem to get to memo because it reached a scorching 93 degrees today! For my first day of school, I went with something light and comfortable while still putting a little effort in. I wore a thick cotton skirt with a snug fitting waist and a flowing hemline that compliments the black and white linear pattern paired with a faded ASOS shirt featuring a picture of the singer Blondie. For footwear, I went with my Urban Outfitters Jellies, and continued with the simple color pallet by complimenting the look with silver jewelry (not pictured). Because of the heat its essential to keep your make up light and natural, so it accentuates your features without resulting in raccoon eyes if you sweat.
