Fear vs Failure #MondayMotivation

“Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.”

There’s a multitude of variations to this quote such as “how can you fail if you never try” or “everything you want in life is on the other side of fear” but they are all saying essentially the same thing.

You can not live your life in fear.

You can not let the voice of insecurity rule your thoughts and squash your ambitions. Imagine what the world could be like if every single person lived up to their full potential?

Everyone has a longing that they keep locked away in the back of their brain whether its a childhood dream or a talent they never fully developed, a product they think should be invented, everyone has a true goal they wish they were doing in their life yet so many people are unhappy with what they are doing, with their jobs, with everything. They’re being kept in a cage of their own making.

I do agree, it is terrifying to put yourself out there and go against the grain of what is normal. It is scary to expose your desires to the world where people could potentially make fun of it. Or your biggest nightmare of failure could occur, but if you truly whole heartedly put your full effort into what you are doing a few things will happen.

  1. You will focus so much of your energy into your passion that you will not have time to hear any self doubt. Or doubt from other people.
  2. You will be surprised about what talents and opportunities both you and the world hold.
  3. You will be free of a mental burden, and will no longer live with the prospect of regret.

It’s understandably hard to actually put your plans in action. Its not as easy to “follow your dreams” as I make it sound from behind my computer screen. But the point is that your dreams aren’t as scary and intimidating as you think. Make a plan, start small, and sometimes as you’re following them your dreams will adapt grow and blossom into things you didn’t previously think of.

What I want you to take away from this post is, have more faith than fear in yourself.

Comment below: What’s your biggest aspiration?

With love,
